2023 gegužės 12 dieną iškilmių salėje vyko viešas atrinktų iniciatyvų projektų pristatymas ir balsavimas. Projektai buvo pristatyti 5–8 kl. ir I–IV kl. mokiniams, mokytojams. Pristatyti projektai: „Judėk su šypsena“ (parengė II a kl. mokinės Kamilė Vitkutė ir Guoda Vasiukevičiūtė), „Daugiau šviesos“ (parengė III kl. mokiniai Jonas Kšanauskas, Deividas Kiupelis, IV kl. mokinys Nojus Tumelionis), „Aktyvus mūsų laisvalaikis“ (parengė IIb kl. mokinės Liucija Fedorčak, Emilija Šliuževičiūtė, Atlanta Matušaitytė). Bus įgyvendinti visi atrinkti ir pristatyti projektai, bet juk labai norisi sužinoti kuris projektas mokiniams pats, pats reikalingiausias ir laukiamiausias! Už projektus balsavo 5-8 kl. ir I-IV kl. mokiniai. Balsų skaičiavimo komisija – Tadas Mikalauskas 5a kl., Gabrielius Malakauskas 6a kl., Andrėja Džiaugytė 6b kl., Andrėja Sakavičiūtė 6b kl., Oskaras Paplauskas 7a kl. – balsadėžėje rado 150 balsavimo lapelių. Suskaičiavus balsus paaiškėjo, kad 80 mokinių balsavo už projektą „Aktyvus mūsų laisvalaikis, po 35 mokinius balsavo už projektus „Judėk su šypsena“ ir „Daugiau šviesos“. Pagalba beglobiams gyvūnams
Gegužės 11 dieną Vilkijos gimnazijos 4b klasės mokiniai vyko į gyvūnų globos namus „Lesė“, įsikūrusius Sausinės kaime. Atvykome ne tuščiomis, tam ruošėmės porą savaičių. Paraginę visus gimnazijos pradinukus, surinkome tikrai daug ir įvairių dovanų. Jos skirtos beglobiams šuneliams ir katinukams, kurių „Lesėje“ tikrai daug ir kiekvieno jų istorija iki gelmių jaudinanti ir dažnu atveju sukrečianti. Prieglaudoje gyvena ir kiek mums neįprasti gyventojai: lapė, gandras, 3 baliniai vėžliukai, pulkas karvelių. Mieli gimnazijos pradinukai, priimkite keturkojų padėką, kurią matėme kiekvieno gyvūnėlio akytėse.
